MICHAEL KAHAN
Michael began traveling at an early age, with his father living in California and his grandparents in Hawaii. The seeds had been planted for a lifelong passion.
After receiving his BA from Ithaca College in 1993 and JD from Brooklyn Law School in 1996, Michael began a 11 year career in Finance, serving as a Vice President of Institutional Sales and Trading at Deutsche Bank, N.A. and various other Investment Banks. His client focused roles helped develop the skills vital for success as a Travel Advisor--attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work quickly and with the highest level of accuracy.
In November of 2007, feeling less fulfilled and looking for a fresh start, Michael embarked on his career in luxury travel, founding Kahan Travel Group. Over the past 13 years, Michael and his team have worked with thousands of couples, families, singles, groups and small companies. Each client comes with unique requirements and desires, with the common goal always being seamless travel experience and meaningful memories.
